Do schools kill creativity?
Probably this is a never ending discution, but eduaction and goverments today are more interested in make sure that more kids graduate and go to college, than the kind of education that they are reciving. In our country for example eduaction is oriented to get kids out of poverty and send them directly to the university to study some good career that will give them a good way to live in the future. It may not be a bad way to manage education, but it defitnily ot kilss creativity, personally i think that not every body is made to study, there are many great talents that are being wasted because an artist and a muscian will not have the same future thanm a lawyer. But by other side i do really think that the goverment cant doent have more tools and many times cant have the control of what´s happening in every school. So the only responsabity of maintain that creativity alive are parents and teachers, they are the only ones that can make a significant change from the inside of the problem and wihout wait that some day the concept of education in the world to change.
